Marquette Law School Pollster Charles Franklin to Headline Post-Election Newsmaker Luncheon

Join us for a Newsmaker Luncheon with Charles Franklin.
MILWAUKEE – Charles Franklin, Professor of Law and Public Policy and director of the Marquette Law School Poll, will be the featured guest at a Newsmaker Luncheon set for noon on Wednesday, November 13, hosted by the Milwaukee Press Club and WisPolitics.com.
Franklin will present an analysis of the results of the November 5 election, focusing on the presidential race between former President Donald Trump and Vice-President Kamala Harris, as well as for U.S. Senate race between incumbent Democrat Sen. Tammy Baldwin and Republican challenger Eric Hovde. Franklin has been director of the law school poll since its inception in 2012. Since then, the poll has been recognized as the definitive source for information about public opinion in Wisconsin.
Franklin will take questions from a panel of journalists and from the audience at the luncheon, to be moderated by Milwaukee Press Club President Maryann Lazarski, journalism instructor at Marquette University. The event is set for 11:45 a.m. to 1:30 p.m. at the Newsroom Pub, 137 E. Wells St.
