Here’s a little more on our winners.
Dr. David Ryder is head brewmaster at MillerCoors.
Those who voted for Dr. Ryder recognized his passion for brewing beer and his extensive knowledge of the craft.
Amy Grau runs Doors Open Milwaukee, a free city-wide tour of Milwaukee’s hidden treasures – from churches to office buildings, museums to hotels.
Her voters called her the city’s biggest cheerleader.
Milwaukee Blacksmith is keeping the city’s blacksmithing tradition alive.
Whether it’s restoring original wrought iron or creating new pieces that match the old, this family owned and operated business is creating hand hammered iron work in Milwaukee.
With its secret password and spy paraphernalia, International Exports Ltd. (Safe House) has been entertaining customers since 1966.
This restaurant and bar often receives national media attention and is considered a “must see” for visitors to Milwaukee.
All winners will be recognized at the City of Milwaukee’s 169th Birthday Party next Thursday, Jan. 29 at The Grain Exchange.
