Newsmaker Luncheon to Feature Lovell

The Milwaukee Press Club will present a Newsmaker Luncheon featuring Marquette University president Michael Lovell on Wednesday, April 22.

The public is invited to attend the event from 11:45 a.m. to 1:30 p.m. at the Newsroom Pub in downtown Milwaukee at 137 E. Wells St.

Lovell became the 24th president of Marquette on July 1, 2014. He will discuss the future of the university and the collaborations he is building with the community.

At the Newsmaker Luncheon, Lovell will be interviewed by a panel of Milwaukee journalists.

The Milwaukee Press Club’s Newsmaker Luncheon Series is sponsored by Journal Communications and the Milwaukee Journal Sentinel.

The Milwaukee Press Club presents the Newsmaker Luncheons to shed light on issues of the day. The public is invited to attend the luncheons. The cost to attend is $18 for MPC members, $23 for non-members, $13 for students. Lunch is included. Seating will be limited. Advanced registration and payment are required and may be done by booking below. Checks may be mailed to the MPC at PO Box 176, North Prairie, WI 53153-0176. Cancellations will be accepted up to 48 hours in advance for a full refund.
