Sponsorship and Advertising Opportunities Now Available

The Milwaukee Press Club, one of the oldest continuously operating press clubs in the world, will host its Gridiron Awards Virtual Ceremony on Wednesday, May 19.

This year, we will be honoring our Sacred Cat award winner, Gloria Borger, CNN chief political analyst.

Borger appears regularly on The Situation Room with Wolf Blitzer and on Anderson Cooper’s 360° and across the network’s primetime programs. Borger plays an instrumental role in CNN’s daily coverage while reporting on a variety of political and breaking news stories, including midterm and presidential elections, Supreme Court rulings, Congressional investigations and more.

This year’s Headliner Awards will be presented to John W. Daniels, Jr., chairman emeritus of Quarles & Brady LLP and Bob and Susan Mikulay of St. Croix Productions, who have served as community volunteers and board members at non-profit organizations throughout the Milwaukee area for many years. Headliner Awards are bestowed annually to those who are making a positive difference in our community and throughout Wisconsin.

There are three ways to get involved with the Gridiron Awards event and partner with the Milwaukee Press Club in its mission of supporting quality journalism and students pursuing careers in journalism:

  To show your support for the honorees and the Press Club’s more than 250 professional members, there are three advertising sponsor levels, each offering different benefits. Sponsors will enjoy exposure at this well-attended event, as well as tickets to the virtual ceremony.

• Advertise in Once A Year Magazine (digital)
  For those interested in celebrating the honorees, the annual Once A Year magazine will be published to recognize these award winners and support the Club.   Includes eight tickets to our virtual awards ceremony, your company logo in the virtual program and Once A Year magazine and verbal recognition during the ceremony. ($500)

The Gridiron also recognizes the Press Club Endowment’s Annual Excellence in Wisconsin Journalism award winners. Most importantly, proceeds from this event help to ensure the quality of Southeastern Wisconsin’s journalistic community for years to come through college scholarships, mentoring, professional development and industry advocacy.
