01/27/22
5:30 pm - 8:00 pm
Bartolotta Catering @ The Grain Exchange
225 E. Michigan Street, Ste #5 Milwaukee Wisconsin, 53202
This past year, Milwaukee proved that as a community we are resilient, tenacious and determined. We’ve always known we’re a City of Champions, and the Bucks helped our city gain that national and international recognition. The enthusiasm and pride of being named NBA champions reverberated throughout our community and we saw our city come together for much-needed jubilation.
2021 was a year not without hardships and uncertainties, many brought on by the COVID-19 pandemic. Our unsung champions are our essential workers, first responders, public health and medical experts, teachers, and media representatives who continue to provide critical care and important information to our community during these unprecedented and trying times.
It’s because of the passionate people in our city that Milwaukee was voted the best city in America in the national Twitter poll.
There’s so much to celebrate and be proud of, so help us wish the city of Milwaukee a happy 176th birthday on Thursday, Jan. 27 from 5:30-8 pm at The Grain Exchange.
Admission includes gourmet food stations by Bartolotta Catering, complimentary beer and birthday cake. Cash bar. RSVP by Tuesday, January 25 by booking below. Tickets: $35/person – advanced / $40/person – at the door.
Acting Mayor Cavalier Johnson will conclude the evening’s program by leading event attendees in singing “Happy Birthday”. Governor Tony Evers and County Executive David Crowley will also be in attendance to celebrate the city’s birthday.
The Press Club is requiring that everyone attending the event be fully vaccinated against COVID-19, as defined by the CDC, or have received a negative COVID-19 test within 72 hours prior to the event. Proof of vaccination or a negative test result will be checked at the door, and under the city of Milwaukee’s mask ordinance, masks will be required indoors.
