Celebrity bartenders to help Milwaukee Press Club celebrate its 136^th anniversary

Lots of people these days are talking about news and journalism – the differences among news stories, commentary, analysis and opinions. Not to mention postings on Facebook, Twitter and Instagram, especially concerning politics, the pandemic, education and government. Here’s your chance to share a beverage and chat with Milwaukee’s journalists and communications experts about ‘The Media’ and its ever evolving role.

The Milwaukee Press Club will celebrate its 136^th anniversary in style on Thursday, December 2 by providing a classic meet and greet opportunity at its annual “Meet the Media” event.

Celebrity bartenders – professionals from media outlets, as well as community and business leaders and communications consultants from throughout the Milwaukee area – will serve up cocktails and conversation throughout the evening.

Event Details: The Milwaukee Press Club’s 136^th Anniversary “Meet the Media” event will take place from 5 to 8 p.m. Thursday, December 2 at the Newsroom Pub, home to the Milwaukee Press Club, located at 137 E. Wells St., in downtown Milwaukee.
